Dremel VersaTip 2000-6 Gas Torch

The Dremel Versatip is a portable and highly versatile tool which can be used in six different ways - including soldering, melting, hot cutting, welding, shrink wrapping and woodburning (pyrography). In particular, the Versatip is ideal for small silver soldering jobs such as chains and jump rings by using the Versatip with an open flame, without attaching a tip. This produces a precise, high temperature flame reaching up to 1200°C - perfect for soldering delicate work with less risk of accidental melting! Six tips are supplied with the Dremel Versatip: cutting knife, hot knife, flat wide flame head, reflector, hot blower head and a separate soldering tip designed for lead and electronics soldering. The Dremel Versatip is powered by liquid butane gas for quick heat-up and fast discharge. A flame lock button allows for continuous use, and the child safety lock mechanism means that the flame cannot be ignited accidentally. Also included with the Dremel Versatip are a soldering tin, solder sponge, sponge box and a handy storage tin.
